vps9 started after OffshoreGuy (our previous company) was ddos'd to the ground after running for over 7 months, a network of more then 30 servers was fully destroyed. All clients were refunded, they were happy with the services we offered but we just couldn't keep our promises due to the extreme circumstances.

We are now back for good, under a new name - vps9 - to provide a better service that we ever did before. Just do a quick search for offshoreguy on the major forums or even google - read all the positive reviews and see what sort of hosting company you are dealing with.
